How To Defend Yourself Against a Larger Attacker On The Street

Contrary to popular belief, size actually matters— and being faced with a larger attacker is one of the worst situations you can be in.

Limit their mobility

Knees are one of the hardest things to block. Lean away from your attacker and use a low-line side kick to attack them. The side kick is one of the favorite self-defense moves of Bruce Lee, accompanied by the vertical fist jab and the finger jab to the eye.

You may also use an ‘oblique kick.’

Attack their breathing
